Business Analyst Next Gen Demand

About the role

We are looking for a Business Analyst to act as the primary bridge between Business, Product and Engineering for a Next Generation Mobile App and digital channels in the FinTech sector. The role is a 5‑month contract based in Douala or Yaoundé, with periodic travel as required.

Key responsibilities

• Map customer journeys and lead design‑thinking workshops.
• Write high‑quality Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs) and User Stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Own and groom the Next Gen demand backlog while maintaining end‑to‑end requirement traceability.
• Collaborate with Architecture to assess technical feasibility and support UAT planning, execution and production sign‑off.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of total experience, including at least 3 years in FinTech, digital banking or mobile money environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies and familiarity with BABOK principles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or Business Administration.
• Relevant certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, CSPO, PSPO or ITIL are a plus.
