Compliance Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Compliance Specialist to support our Compliance Department with onboarding/KYC activities, first‑level investigations and monitoring tasks. This development‑focused position will help build strong compliance foundations and prepare you for future progression toward a lead role.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct first‑level controls on daily operations (monitoring).
• Triage and pre‑qualify alerts from detection tools before in‑depth analysis.
• Prepare documentation for investigations conducted by the Compliance Lead (AML/CFT).
• Extract and compile data useful for monitoring partner platforms.
• Contribute to drafting suspicious transaction reports under supervision.
• Update monitoring tables and activity reports.
• Collect and verify supporting documents for onboarding files (customers, sub‑agents).
• Perform first‑level KYC checks (identity, address, beneficial owners).
• Populate and maintain the KYC file tracking database.
• Identify incomplete or anomalous files and report them.
• Participate in sub‑agent compliance reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Audit, Control, Statistics/Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong rigor and ability to analyse data.
• Discretion, curiosity and ability to work under supervision.
• Motivation to learn the compliance business.

Required skills

• Proficiency with spreadsheet programs, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using Power BI.
• Familiarity with Power Query.
• Knowledge of DAX formulas.
