Dental Assistant – Patient Care & Clinical Support

About the role

Ideal Dental is seeking a motivated Dental Assistant to join our fast‑growing team. You will support dentists and patients throughout the visit, ensuring smooth clinical operations and a welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a variety of procedures, keeping patients comfortable.
• Take precise dental X‑rays and conduct digital iTero scans.
• Prepare and break down operatories, sterilize instruments, and maintain infection‑control standards.
• Manage patient flow, greet guests, and record medical histories.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and take impressions/bite registrations for appliances.
• Support charting, documentation, and treatment planning.

Required profile

• Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license.
• Current CPR certification.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience as an RDA in a dental practice.
• Willingness to travel to newly acquired offices if needed.
