Education Coordinator

About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking an Education Coordinator to lead the strategy, management, coordination and implementation of education programmes across Cameroon. Reporting to the Deputy Director of Program, the role ensures high‑quality delivery of learning initiatives for displaced and host‑community children in the country’s humanitarian response.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the national education strategy in line with IRC’s humanitarian objectives.
• Coordinate education activities across field offices, ensuring alignment with programme goals and standards.
• Monitor and guarantee the quality of sectoral interventions, providing technical guidance to staff and partners.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team, fostering constructive collaboration and effective programme delivery.
