Embedded Security Coordinator

About the role

Control Risks is seeking an experienced security professional to join its embedded consultant team at a client site in Douala. You will oversee day‑to‑day physical security, access control and reporting for a busy operation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage physical and procedural security at the client site, including access control protocols.
• Oversee a contracted guard force and coordinate journey management.
• Maintain a local network of contacts and proactively report security developments.
• Draft regular security reports, identify infrastructure deficiencies and advise corrective actions.
• Respond to security incidents and conduct investigations as required.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in physical security management.
• Cameroonian citizen with fluent French (written and spoken); English is a plus.
• Established network of contacts in the Douala area.
• Proven ability to produce clear written reports and work collaboratively with clients and contractors.
