Field Auditor

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Field Auditor to support Wave’s mission of building a cashless Africa. You will travel to premium agencies across Cameroon, conduct cash audits, investigate discrepancies and help improve operational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to designated premium agencies regularly and carry out cash audits.
• Investigate discrepancies, provide training to agents and follow up on debt reimbursements.
• Maintain and update security and operational risk maps with information on threats and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct end‑of‑year cash inventories and support risk analysis for new agency setups and pre‑financing.
• Ensure compliance with the code of conduct and boost fraud awareness among agency staff.

Required profile

• Fluency in French and good command of English; local languages a plus.
• At least 2 years of university‑level experience in finance or accounting, with exposure to high cash volumes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, detail‑oriented and self‑motivated.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Google Sheets.
