Finance Manager

About the role

ECOM Cameroon Commodities is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead the company’s financial management and reporting in Douala. The role reports to both the Finance Controller and the Country Director and supports strategic decision‑making through accurate financial analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day finance and accounting operations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, receivables, payables and overall financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, OHADA accounting standards and local regulations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Review transactions, maintain proper documentation and approvals.
• Coordinate statutory, tax compliance and audit activities.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management.
• Supervise, coach and develop members of the finance team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant finance and accounting experience.
• Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, cash‑flow management and internal controls.
• Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
