Finance Operations Manager

About the role

APAVE Cameroun seeks a Finance Operations Manager to support an international food manufacturing and agribusiness sourcing company. Reporting to the General Manager, you will ensure financial integrity, manage daily accounting tasks, and provide reliable data for sustainable business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and process accounting documentation, issue invoices for cocoa bean sales and track receivables.
• Assist with monthly closing, accruals, provisions, reconciliations and prepare cash flow statements.
• Participate in annual budgeting, update cost information and coordinate with regional finance and auditors.
• Oversee financial data for sourcing operations, prepare scenarios and financial models for business decisions.
• Maintain system accuracy, ensure compliance with local statutes, tax laws and international accounting standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in finance, accounting or controlling, preferably in cocoa, agribusiness or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS a plus, and high ethical standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills in English and French.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems, preferably Odoo.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel.
• Experience with financial software and budgeting tools.
