French-English Bilingual Travel Specialist (Sabre GDS)

About the role

Our client seeks a French‑English bilingual Travel Specialist with Sabre GDS expertise to provide high‑touch, urgent support to travelers outside standard business hours. You will handle last‑minute itinerary changes, hotel billing inquiries, and complex booking updates across phone, email, text, and chat.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to client requests via phone, email, text, or chat.
• Provide same‑day itinerary confirmations and accurate travel documentation.
• Research solutions and make decisions that balance client needs with business requirements.
• Resolve a wide range of travel‑related questions, concerns, and issues.
• Coordinate travel services and manage urgent or complex booking requests.
• Make outbound calls to hotel partners to confirm reservations and billing.
• Communicate professionally across all channels and document client issues for follow‑up.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of company products, services, and promotions.

Required profile

• Full fluency in English and French (verbal and written).
• 3+ years experience as a Travel Agent or Travel Manager.
• 2+ years hands‑on experience with Sabre GDS.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with a customer‑first mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication abilities.
• Outstanding time‑management, organized, self‑motivated and able to handle multiple tasks.
