French-English Bilingual Travel Specialist (Sabre GDS)

About the role

We are seeking a French‑English bilingual Travel Specialist with strong Sabre GDS expertise to provide high‑touch, urgent support to travelers outside standard business hours. You will handle last‑minute itinerary changes, hotel billing inquiries, and complex booking updates across multiple communication channels.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to client requests via phone, email, text, or chat and provide same‑day itinerary confirmations.
• Research solutions, make decisions balancing client needs with business requirements, and resolve a wide range of travel‑related issues.
• Coordinate travel services, manage urgent or complex bookings, and make outbound calls to hotel partners for reservations and billing confirmation.
• Document client issues for follow‑up and maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of company products, services, and promotions.

Required profile

• Full fluency in English and French (verbal and written).
• 3+ years experience as a Travel Agent or Travel Manager and 2+ years hands‑on experience with Sabre GDS.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, customer‑first mindset, and excellent interpersonal and written communication abilities.
• Flexible availability for weekends, evenings, overnights, and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Sabre GDS.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
