Frontend Developer

About the role

Primers Tech is seeking a full‑time Frontend Developer to join its growing team. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing user‑facing features of web applications, turning UI/UX designs into responsive and accessible interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Translate UI/UX designs into clean, responsive HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code.
• Develop new features using a modern frontend framework such as React, Vue, or Angular.
• Collaborate daily with designers, backend developers, and product stakeholders in stand‑ups, planning sessions, and code reviews.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve performance or compatibility issues.
• Contribute to frontend architecture, best practices, and code quality standards.

Required profile

• Strong background in front‑end development and responsive web design.
• Experience with software development practices including version control, testing, and code review.
• Familiarity with back‑end concepts to enable effective collaboration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience (preferred).
• Ability to work on‑site in Buea and communicate clearly with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
