About the role
UNICEF Cameroon is seeking a national intern to support its Adolescent and Gender Programme. The intern will contribute to the development and validation of the Girls’ Rights Agenda, helping to advance gender equality and adolescent wellbeing in Cameroon.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in compiling inputs and formatting documents for the Girls’ Rights Agenda.
- Track activities and maintain simple tools such as contact lists and activity logs.
- Support coordination with civil society organisations, NGOs and youth groups.
- Follow up on partner engagements and update tracking sheets.
- Provide administrative support for meetings and events related to the programme.
Required profile
- Cameroon national, currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant university programme.
- Strong interest in gender issues, adolescent development and child rights.
- Good written and oral communication skills in English and French.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
