Gypsum Production Manager – Kribi, Cameroon

About the role

Gypsum Production Manager needed to lead operations of a new gypsum plant in Kribi, Cameroon – the first of its kind in the country. The role covers commissioning, start‑up and the transition to stable, continuous production.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee safe, efficient and reliable operation of the gypsum plant from commissioning through to stable production.
• Lead and develop a multicultural plant team, ensuring compliance with production, maintenance, quality and HSE standards.
• Ensure production targets are met while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in gypsum production and plant operations, preferably as Plant, Production or Operations Manager.
• Strong technical knowledge of gypsum processes such as calcination, grinding, mixing, drying and packing.
• Experience in plant commissioning, start‑up and production ramp‑up; prior work in Africa is a plus.
• Fluent in English and French; engineering background preferred.
