IT Application Support Engineer – FinTech (5‑month contract)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Application Support Engineer to join a leading FinTech client on a 5‑month contract. The role focuses on maintaining the health and performance of next‑generation mobile, web and USSD applications serving digital banking customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage production support, monitor application health metrics and coordinate app store releases for iOS, Android, Web and USSD.
• Lead incident response, conduct root‑cause analysis and handle vendor escalations within defined SLAs.
• Implement proactive observability using logging, tracing and alerting tools to improve transaction success rates.
• Maintain operational runbooks, support disaster‑recovery/BCP testing and generate executive health reports.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of digital application support experience, including at least 3 years with high‑scale mobile apps, digital banking or FinTech platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with iOS, Android, API management and third‑party SDK integrations.
• Proficiency with observability stacks (Grafana, ELK, Datadog, Firebase) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) in a DevOps CI/CD environment.
• Preferred certifications: ITIL Foundation, Cloud Associate or Agile/Scrum.
