Junior Business Development

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Junior Business Development professional to join our growing team in Yaoundé. The role focuses on creating new business opportunities, acquiring partners, and supporting the commercial growth of our finance‑focused organization.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and acquire new merchants, clients and business partners.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and partners.
• Follow up on partnerships to ensure continued engagement and satisfaction.
• Identify new market opportunities and contribute to expansion strategies.
• Develop and implement commercial strategies to meet business objectives.
• Conduct field visits and other commercial activities as required.
• Monitor client and partner needs, providing appropriate solutions and feedback for product improvement.
• Prepare regular reports on business development activities and results.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in business development or sales, with professional experience in the finance sector.
• Fluent in English and French, with willingness to travel within Yaoundé for field activities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Comfortable using AI tools and digital platforms.
• Knowledge of CRM systems (advantageous).
