Laundry Attendant

About the role

Marcsons Hotels & Resorts in Limbe is seeking a skilled and hardworking Laundry Attendant to join its hospitality team. The role involves handling hotel linens, towels, uniforms and other laundry items efficiently and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Operate commercial and industrial washing and drying machines correctly and safely.
• Operate industrial irons and ironing equipment efficiently.
• Sort, wash, dry, iron, fold and store hotel linens, towels, uniforms and other items.
• Apply appropriate washing methods, detergents and stain‑removal techniques based on fabric type and level of soiling.
• Inspect laundry for stains, damage or missing items and report any issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
• Keep accurate records of laundry received and returned.
• Ensure clean laundry is folded, packed and delivered to relevant departments.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a hotel, laundry service or similar establishment.
• Physically fit and able to perform repetitive tasks.
• Honest, reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Industrial washing machine operation.
• Industrial drying machine operation.
• Industrial ironing equipment operation.
• Knowledge of fabric types, washing temperatures, detergents and stain removal.
