Lead Estimator – Construction Projects

About the role

MilleNext Group is looking for an experienced Lead Estimator to drive the estimating and bid development process for construction projects across the US and Africa. The role combines technical cost estimation, bid management, and project pipeline oversight to ensure competitive and accurate proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates covering labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and indirect costs.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Analyze project plans, technical specifications, and regulatory requirements to develop realistic budgets and schedules.
• Lead the full bid lifecycle from RFP review to final proposal submission, coordinating internal reviews and ensuring compliance.
• Review contract terms and identify commercial and operational risks.
• Solicit, evaluate, and manage vendor and subcontractor quotations, maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Required profile

• Proven experience in construction cost estimation and bid management.
• Familiarity with telecommunications, fiber‑optic, and network infrastructure projects.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret technical and regulatory documents.
• Excellent organizational skills to maintain estimating documentation and historical cost data.
