About the role

The university is seeking a Maître·sse de Conférence to teach computer‑science courses in the Bachelor of Technology program and to contribute to research in machine learning and data science at the Laboratoire d'Informatique de Paris Nord.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and practical sessions on data processing, database design, software development quality, and artificial intelligence.
• Supervise student internships and apprenticeship projects.
• Participate in the organization of learning and evaluation situations (SAE) and take responsibility for specific courses.
• Engage in departmental life and collaborative academic activities.
• Conduct research within the A3 team (Automatic Learning and Applications) or the RCLN team (Knowledge Representation and Natural Language).

Required profile

• Proven theoretical or applied contributions in machine learning.
• Ability to strengthen one or more research axes: data‑driven learning, relational/graph learning, meta‑learning, or natural language processing.
• Interest in teaching at the undergraduate level and supporting student projects.
