Multimedia Editor / Visual Content Creator

About the role

JPS Productions, a historic African music label, is looking for a full‑time Multimedia Editor / Visual Content Creator to join its team in Douala. You will be responsible for creating engaging video and visual assets that showcase the label’s artists, catalog, and brand across digital platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise, shoot and edit videos, teasers, trailers and short clips for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other channels.
• Design simple motion graphics and visual assets that align with the label’s artistic direction.
• Collaborate with artistic, production and marketing teams to develop creative concepts and storyboards.
• Maintain an organised archive of all media assets and ensure proper version control.
• Monitor performance metrics of published content and provide recommendations for future productions.

Required profile

• Strong visual sense with a passion for music and cultural storytelling.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and work effectively in a team.
• Familiarity with African music audiences is a strong advantage.
• Relevant education or training in multimedia, audiovisual production, communication or a related field is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with cameras, basic lighting and audio‑visual capture.
• Advanced video editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
• Experience creating visual content for social media platforms.
• Ability to produce subtitles, scripts and storyboards.
