Night Auditor

About the role

The Night Auditor is a full-time, on-site position in Littoral, Cameroon, responsible for managing late-night front desk operations. The role covers check-ins and check-outs, guest inquiries, and end-of-day reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests and handle check-ins and check-outs, and respond to guest inquiries
• Process reservations and maintain accurate guest records
• Review and reconcile daily financial transactions, balance cash drawers and ensure accurate posting of room charges and payments
• Prepare end-of-day reports and maintain a secure, orderly front desk
• Monitor lobby and common areas, coordinate with other hotel departments when needed, and uphold company policies and hospitality standards

Required profile

• Experience with reservations management, booking systems and guest records
• Prior hotel or hospitality experience, especially in night audit or front office, is highly beneficial
• Ability to work overnight shifts and stay attentive and detail-focused
• Vocational training or education in hospitality, hotel management or a related field is an advantage

Required skills

• Receptionist duties and front desk operations, including check-in/check-out procedures
• Reliable cash handling and reconciliation of financial transactions
• Basic computer systems and property management software, with good numerical and reporting skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
