Operations Cashier

About the role

The Operations Cashier is the front‑line representative of our betting company at the point of sale in Yaoundé. Working in 12‑hour rotating shifts, you will take sports and virtual bets, handle cash transactions, and ensure strict compliance with gambling regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome bettors and record sports and virtual bets using the betting terminal.
• Collect stakes, verify ticket accuracy, and process payments.
• Maintain and reconcile the cash drawer at each shift change, produce signed reports and remit proceeds according to company procedures.
• Enforce gambling rules: refuse service to minors, apply KYC checks, and report any suspicious activity or discrepancies.
• Keep the workstation clean and report equipment malfunctions.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience as a cashier or operator in sports/virtual betting.
• High integrity and rigor in cash management.
• Customer‑service orientation with professional presentation.
• Ability to work alternating day and night shifts on a 2‑days‑on/2‑days‑off schedule.

Required skills

• Operation of betting terminals and betting software.
• Cash drawer management and reconciliation.
• Basic knowledge of Mobile Money services (Orange Money, MTN MoMo).
• Conducting KYC verification for significant winnings.
