Operations Officer – Cameroon (National Applicants Only)

About the role

The International NGO Safety Organization (INSO) is seeking a motivated Operations Officer to support its Cameroon mission. Based in Yaounde, you will work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure that all operational functions run smoothly and comply with INSO policies and Cameroonian regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement activities, including supplier sourcing, RFQs, bid analysis, purchase orders and documentation.
• Maintain supplier contracts and service agreements.
• Organise logistics for workshops, meetings, travel and other operational events.
• Manage office assets, inventory, equipment tracking and regular physical verification.
• Monitor vehicle usage and keep fleet records up to date.
• Arrange staff travel, accommodation, visas and transport where required.
• Support the planning and execution of internal meetings, workshops and events.
• Maintain filing systems and administrative records, ensuring accurate and accessible documentation.

Required profile

• Cameroonian national with the right to work locally.
• Experience in procurement, logistics or administrative support within an NGO or similar environment.
• Strong understanding of local regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the Operations Manager and support staff throughout the employee lifecycle.
