Power Generation Salesperson – Douala

About the role

The Power Generation Salesperson will develop new business opportunities for power generation equipment and solutions in the Douala urban community. This full‑time, on‑site position involves visiting prospects, understanding technical needs, and presenting tailored solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and grow a client portfolio of industrial and commercial customers.
• Identify technical and commercial requirements and prepare tailored sales proposals.
• Advise clients on equipment selection, negotiate contracts and pricing, and close sales.
• Oversee installations and coordinate after‑sales service to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate sales reports, monitor market trends and competitors, and represent ABN Motors at industry events.

Required profile

• Minimum Bac+2/3 in electrotechnics, electromechanics, electrical engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience selling generator sets or industrial electrical equipment.
• Strong technical knowledge of generator sets and power generation equipment.
• Proven sales acumen, negotiation skills and a results‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently, attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency with CRM tools and standard office software.
