Premium Cash Assistant

About the role

Wave is expanding its cashless ecosystem across Africa and needs a reliable Premium Cash Assistant to support agents and customers in Cameroon. Working under the Premium Cash Officer, you will ensure smooth daily cash operations and help maintain the integrity of our treasury system.

Key responsibilities

• Assist nearby agents with liquidity needs, including cash deposits and withdrawals.
• Provide guidance on Wave products, account opening, app usage, and physical card services.
• Maintain daily reconciliation of premium points and record all cash transactions accurately in the treasury system.
• Request and allocate sufficient funds promptly to rebalance agent and client accounts.
• Report any discrepancies, challenges, or counterfeit bills to the Premium Cash Officer and leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in cash management, reconciliation, liquidity management, or cash handling.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in French; English and a local language are a plus.
• Previous front‑office customer service or banking experience.
• Highly vigilant, detail‑oriented, and possessing strong integrity.
