Reconciliation Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Reconciliation Manager to join our fast‑growing fintech team in Douala. You will ensure that all financial transactions processed through our platform are accurately matched, investigated and recorded, supporting our mission to make Africa cashless.

Key responsibilities

• Review and process agent e‑float purchases and partner wallet funding.
• Perform detailed, transaction‑by‑transaction reconciliation, confirming amounts and flagging discrepancies.
• Daily reconciliation of bank transactions and alignment with bank agent IDs.
• Record daily and monthly bank fees.
• Investigate and resolve balance differences.
• Support junior staff in project implementation and provide ad‑hoc analytical tasks.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and French.
• Degree in banking, finance, accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in bank or financial reconciliation.
• Strong accounting fundamentals, high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience training and managing junior team members.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Google Sheets.
