Reconciliation Manager

About the role

Wave is building the first cashless continent in Africa and needs a meticulous Reconciliation Manager to ensure the accuracy of its financial flows. Based in Douala, you will work closely with agents, partners and internal teams to keep the company’s banking operations flawless.

Key responsibilities

• Review and process agent e‑float purchases and partner wallet funding transactions.
• Perform daily reconciliation of bank transactions and match them with corresponding agent IDs.
• Record daily and monthly bank fees and investigate any discrepancies.
• Assist direct reports in implementing projects and handle ad‑hoc financial tasks.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and French.
• Degree in banking, finance, accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar reconciliation or accounting role.
• Strong grasp of accounting fundamentals and high attention to detail.
• Experience training and managing junior staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
