Regional Lead

About the role

We're hiring a Regional Lead to join our team in Cameroon. Reporting to the Country Launcher, you will oversee Wave’s agent network acquisition and user‑growth operations for the assigned region, supervising Field Officers and coordinating with agent admin teams to meet regional targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new agents, ensuring contracts and training comply with legal and policy requirements.
• Manage agent activation, certification, KYC/AML training, and supply/branding delivery.
• Monitor agent liquidity, performance, and compliance, coordinating with Liquidity and Quality teams.
• Lead a team of Field Officers and field‑based promoters to recruit new users and drive product adoption.
• Analyze field operations data to formulate strategic recommendations and optimise regional performance.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and French.
• Master’s degree in a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience managing agent networks or user acquisition in Cameroon, with a minimum of 2 years leading field‑based teams.
• Prior launch experience and experience working in up‑country locations is desirable.
