Remote Script Writer – Full‑Time/Contract

About the role

We are looking for a highly creative Script Writer to develop engaging narratives for a variety of media formats, including YouTube videos, commercials, television spots, and digital campaigns. This remote, full‑time/contract position works closely with production and creative teams to turn concepts into polished, production‑ready scripts that align with brand voice and audience expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualize and write original scripts tailored to specific media formats.
• Collaborate with directors, producers, and creative staff to brainstorm story ideas, themes, and character arcs.
• Conduct thorough research to ensure factual accuracy and authenticity.
• Craft realistic dialogue and manage pacing to advance the plot.
• Participate in script readings, incorporate feedback, and revise drafts as needed.
• Maintain consistent storytelling and format scripts according to industry standards.
• Manage multiple writing projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing, English, Communications, Film, or a related field (preferred).
• 3–5 years of professional experience as a script writer, screenwriter, or copywriter.
• Strong narrative development skills with a deep understanding of pacing, structure, and visual storytelling.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Flexibility to adapt writing style for diverse audiences and project requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with scriptwriting software such as Final Draft, Celtx, or Fade In.
• Robust portfolio showcasing a range of scripts or produced work.
