Revenue Assurance Analyst

About the role

Olam Agri's Revenue Assurance Analyst ensures the integrity, accuracy and compliance of all sales activities within the Wheat Milling business in Cameroon. The role audits sales transactions, trade activities, customer accounts, pricing practices and stock movements, safeguards company revenue, minimises commercial risks and strengthens internal controls across the sales and distribution network.

Key responsibilities

• Sales and trade audit: periodically audit sales transactions, customer accounts, discounts, rebates and promotions; verify compliance with approved pricing, trade schemes and commercial policies; review sales orders, invoices, credit notes and claims; maintain audit-ready documentation.
• Revenue assurance: identify and investigate revenue leakages, unauthorized discounts, duplicate claims and pricing discrepancies; validate sales volumes, margins and revenue reporting; ensure accuracy of sales data in SAP and other reporting systems.
• Distributor and channel audits: audit distributors, wholesalers and key trade partners; verify stock movements, inventory balances and market execution; assess compliance with distributor agreements; conduct field visits and report market insights; reconcile customer accounts, monitor outstanding balances and flag aged receivables.
• Internal controls and compliance: evaluate sales controls and business processes, identify fraud risks and control weaknesses, and recommend and monitor corrective actions.
• Reporting and analytics: prepare audit reports with findings, risks, root causes and recommendations; track closure of audit action plans; analyse sales trends and exceptions; support month-end closing.
• Stakeholder engagement: collaborate with Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain and Internal Audit teams, support investigations into sales irregularities and promote a culture of compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, audit, business administration, economics, statistics or a related field.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CIA or equivalent are an added advantage.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in internal audit, commercial audit, revenue assurance, sales operations or finance.
• Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, milling, agribusiness or distribution is preferred.
• Good understanding of sales processes, trade promotions, pricing controls and credit management.
• Willingness to travel across Cameroon for field audits and market visits.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills, able to analyze large datasets and spot anomalies.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
