Sales Manager – Wholesale Fibre (Contractor)

About the role

The Sales Manager will provide sales and commercial support for fixed‑infrastructure wholesale for South Sudan FibreCo, serving both internal MTN Group OpCos and external customers such as global carriers, ISPs, MNOs and digital players.

Key responsibilities

• Drive wholesale business to capture incremental revenue from internal and third‑party customers.
• Collaborate with the Managing Director to allocate resources and meet performance targets.
• Implement the annual business plan and use business‑intelligence insights to position products competitively.
• Develop and manage executive relationships, delivering consultative selling at board level.
• Define strategic guidelines for selling fixed infrastructure to global third‑party customers and manage the full customer lifecycle.
• Ensure on‑time implementation and delivery of sold services, coordinating with implementation and managed‑services teams.
• Monitor market pricing trends, provide feedback for pricing updates, and prepare business cases for sales forecasts.
• Optimize international assets for maximum financial return and grow product demand through innovative GTM strategies.
• Manage sales team performance and contribute to consolidated reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in wholesale fibre or telecom services sales.
• Ability to develop executive‑level relationships and influence board‑level discussions.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of meeting ambitious revenue targets.
• Leadership capability to manage and motivate a sales team.
