Senior Client Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Client Accountant to join our Corporate Solutions team in Ebene, Mauritius. You will support a portfolio of Irish‑incorporated SPVs, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, preparation of management accounts and compliance with IFRS and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements and annual reports in line with IFRS, Companies Act and other applicable GAAP.
• Produce monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts and coordinate timely delivery with the Ireland client services team.
• Provide day‑to‑day financial reporting for assigned clients, adhering to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities, facilitating audit processes and addressing queries.
• Maintain systematic accounting records and manage a portfolio of entities independently.
• Assist with ad‑hoc assignments and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Report progress to senior team members within agreed timeframes.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Team player with excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
• Experience in accounting for SPVs or similar structures, preferably under IFRS.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IFRS and local Companies Act requirements.
• Understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
