Senior Manager – Commercial Legal & CoSec

About the role

The Senior Manager – Commercial Legal and CoSec leads the Commercial Legal team, providing strategic legal guidance to support business operations and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Commercial Legal team, coordinating with other departments.
• Design, implement and update standard contracts, checklists and legal policies.
• Draft, negotiate and formalise complex commercial agreements while minimising risk.
• Monitor the Contract Management System, resolve issues and ensure proper filing.
• Provide legal advisory services and conduct training for non‑legal staff.
• Manage relationships with judiciary and administrative authorities.
• Champion key company projects and align them with Group‑level objectives.
• Prepare and manage the legal budget.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Law (or related field) preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial law and contract management.
• Proven leadership and team‑mentoring abilities.
• Strong knowledge of Cameroonian and international telecom legal frameworks.
• Fluency in English and French.
