Software Engineer

About the role

ANY TECH COMPANY LTD is seeking a full‑time Software Engineer to join its Bamenda office. You will design, develop, test and maintain software applications that power the company’s innovative technology solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient, and secure code for back‑end services and APIs.
• Develop, integrate, and maintain databases and server‑side architectures.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define and refine requirements.
• Review code for quality, security, and performance optimization.
• Document technical specifications and contribute to knowledge bases.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging technologies and best practices.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in Computer Science principles and software engineering concepts.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Experience with back‑end web development, APIs, databases, and server‑side architectures.
• Solid understanding of Object‑Oriented Programming and design patterns.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, version control systems, and modern development tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and communicate technical concepts clearly.
