Territory Manager – Surgical Devices & Endoscopy

About the role

Olympus is looking for a dynamic Territory Manager to promote its Surgical Endoscopy and Devices portfolio in the West Switzerland (French‑speaking) region. You will be the face of our innovative laparoscopic towers and handheld instruments, driving sales growth and supporting customers throughout the territory.

Key responsibilities

• Demonstrate and sell surgical instruments and equipment from the Laparoscopy Imaging and Surgical Devices divisions.
• Develop and execute sales forecasts in collaboration with sales management.
• Provide expert advice and support to existing and prospective customers.
• Acquire new customers and nurture strong, long‑term relationships.
• Organise and participate in customer events such as trade fairs, workshops and seminars.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities through independent research.
• Report activities, plan weekly sales strategies and execute sales tasks accurately within the territory.
• Achieve and exceed sales and contribution‑margin targets.
• Collaborate closely with the Sales Manager and internal sales support team.
• Exercise authority for daily sales activities and pricing decisions within established margins.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience, preferably in healthcare or medical devices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and customer‑service skills.
• Independent, proactive and results‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to manage a territory autonomously while working effectively in a team.
• Clinical or bioscience background.
• Fluent in French; good knowledge of English; German is a plus.
• Valid driving licence.
