Admin and SHE Officer

About the role

The Admin and SHE Officer at Roche in Cameroon ensures smooth daily office operations while leading the Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) strategy. This dual role blends administrative excellence with strategic SHE leadership to protect people, assets, and drive a high‑performance culture.

Key responsibilities

• Manage physical and digital records, contracts, correspondence and ensure accurate invoice processing.
• Support operational readiness by documenting core processes such as Site Management and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) for upcoming SHE audits.
• Coordinate complex schedules, travel arrangements, office procurement and organize team‑building activities.
• Identify and implement digital tools to streamline workflows and improve team effectiveness.
• Lead the “One SHE” team in Cameroon, advising senior management and integrating SHE strategies into business planning.
• Implement site security protocols and maintain a robust Business Continuity Plan.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and Roche global policies, manage SHE KPI reporting and liaise with law‑enforcement and professional bodies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; experience in a pharmaceutical environment is a plus.
• Strong analytical ability, capable of processing large data sets and drawing accurate conclusions.
• Proven negotiation skills and the ability to work independently while fostering teamwork.
