Junior Business Developer

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and results‑oriented Junior Business Developer to join our growing organization in Yaoundé. The role focuses on creating new business opportunities, acquiring partners, and supporting the commercial growth of our finance‑focused services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and acquire new merchants, clients and business partners.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and partners.
• Follow up on partnerships to ensure continued engagement.
• Identify new market opportunities and contribute to expansion strategies.
• Develop and implement commercial strategies to meet business objectives.
• Conduct field visits and other commercial activities as required.
• Monitor client and partner needs and propose appropriate solutions.
• Provide feedback to improve products and services.
• Prepare regular reports on business development activities and results.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in business development, sales or a similar commercial role.
• Professional experience in the finance sector, preferably in FinTech, digital payments, banking or financial services.
• Fluent in English and French and willing to travel within Yaoundé for field activities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Comfortable using AI tools and digital platforms.
• Knowledge of CRM systems (advantageous).
