National Consultant for I Am Music Program (4 positions)

About the role

UNICEF Cameroon is seeking four national consultants to support the I Am Music programme, an initiative that uses free music education to create a protective learning environment for vulnerable children and adolescents, especially girls. The consultants will work closely with UNICEF staff and local partners to ensure high‑quality implementation, strategic scaling and effective coordination across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical and programmatic guidance to I Am Music nuclei in various localities.
• Coordinate with national stakeholders, NGOs and government entities to align activities with UNICEF’s objectives.
• Monitor programme delivery, collect data and contribute to regular reporting.
• Support the development of scaling strategies and institutional coordination mechanisms.
• Assist in the preparation of training materials, guidelines and communication tools.

Required profile

• Cameroonian national with a strong background in programme management or coordination.
• Experience working with NGOs, international organisations or music‑based educational projects.
• Demonstrated ability to work in multi‑stakeholder environments and to travel within Cameroon.
