About the role
SkyGoVoyages is looking for a dynamic Sales & Marketing Officer to drive its travel sales operations in Cameroon. The role combines reservation management, tour packaging, corporate client development, and on‑the‑ground marketing to expand the company’s presence in the Central African market.
Key responsibilities
- Handle air reservations, ticketing, and re‑issuance using Amadeus and Galileo GDS platforms, ensuring accurate PNR creation and fare calculation.
- Design, price, and promote inbound and outbound tour packages for individual and group travelers, coordinating logistics such as transport, accommodation, and visa assistance.
- Manage walk‑in and corporate inquiries, build relationships with MICE clients, and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for tickets and tour packages.
- Conduct direct marketing activities, cold‑calling, field visits, and participation in promotional events to increase brand visibility.
- Gather market intelligence on competitors and emerging travel trends, and identify new business opportunities and partnerships.
- Oversee the end‑to‑end sales process, ensuring accurate client documentation and coordination with back‑office for visa processing and travel insurance.
Required profile
- 2–5 years of experience in the travel industry, preferably with exposure to the Indian market.
- Proven track record in managing reservations, group tours, and corporate clientele.
- Strong sales orientation with ability to meet and exceed targets.
- Excellent communication and client‑service skills.
