People & Culture Associate

About the role

The People & Culture Associate provides essential administrative and transactional support to the country office’s People & Culture (P&C) function. Working within a PEPFAR‑funded health project, the role ensures smooth HR operations, accurate record‑keeping, and high‑quality service to staff.

Key responsibilities

• Post job vacancies, schedule interviews, and prepare candidate communications.
• Maintain employee records in the HRIS and physical files, ensuring completeness and compliance.
• Assist in preparing payroll and benefits documentation.
• Coordinate logistics for training sessions, meetings, and employee engagement activities.
• Respond to staff inquiries regarding P&C policies and procedures.
• Track and submit timesheets, ensuring timely processing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Law, Management or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HR Information Systems (HRIS).
