Shop Floor Sales Associate

About the role

We are seeking a flexible, hardworking and sales‑oriented Shop Floor Staff to join our client’s team in Douala. The role involves creating a welcoming environment for customers, assisting them throughout their shopping journey, and supporting daily store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Set up the shop each day, ensuring it is clean, organized and presentable.
• Perform routine cleaning duties to maintain a welcoming environment.
• Greet customers warmly, guide product selection and make recommendations.
• Actively upsell products to enhance the customer experience and increase transaction value.
• Assist customers during payment and checkout, and provide post‑sale support as needed.
• Help with stock control, conduct regular inventory checks and verify deliveries.
• Organize and arrange stock, including handling cartons.

Required profile

• Hardworking and self‑motivated.
• Sales‑oriented with a customer‑first attitude.
• Flexible and adaptable to daily tasks.
• Previous retail or hospitality experience is a plus.
• Preferred age range: mid‑20s to early‑30s.
