Account Payable & General Ledger Officer

About the role

The Account Payable & General Ledger Officer will manage payment processing, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure seamless integration between SIMPRO and XERO systems. This role supports month‑end closing, vendor coordination, and compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Review and process supplier invoices, petty cash reimbursements, and credit‑card settlements, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
• Enter transactions into SIMPRO, verify tax invoice completeness, and coordinate with the Tax Team.
• Maintain vendor relationships, resolve discrepancies, and guarantee timely payments.
• Prepare routine journal entries (accruals, pre‑payments, depreciation) and integrate them with XERO.
• Perform monthly reconciliations between SIMPRO and XERO, investigating and resolving variances.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Economics.
• Minimum 3 years of finance/accounting experience, preferably in construction or foreign‑investment companies.
• Strong ethical standards and knowledge of relevant financial regulations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle extended hours when needed.
