AMO Technician (Electro-Mechanical)

About the role

The AMO Technician (Electro‑Mechanical) joins Baker Hughes' Repair team to deliver high‑quality maintenance and overhaul services for industrial equipment. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure equipment safety, reliability, and compliance with operating specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly, maintenance, and overhaul on electro‑mechanical equipment.
• Conduct mechanical inspections to verify compliance with safety and performance standards.
• Analyze system data and interpret information to resolve complex technical issues.
• Operate precision inspection tools such as micrometers, vernier calipers, MPI and LPI devices.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to deliver effective solutions and project outcomes.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent in mechanics, electro‑mechanics, or a related technical field.
• Hands‑on maintenance experience with electro‑mechanical functions in industrial settings (oilfield, electronics, hydraulic systems).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, assembly prints, and parts lists.
• Fluent in French and English (conversational English preferred).

• Data analysis for troubleshooting.
