Area Continuous Improvement Subject Matter Expert

About the role

Maersk is seeking an Area Continuous Improvement Subject Matter Expert to drive operational excellence across its logistics network. You will work closely with regional and global stakeholders to support transformation initiatives, platform adoption, and process optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure local Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) align with global standards and are consistently followed.
• Support process optimisation initiatives, including updates to management operating systems, processes, and platforms.
• Act as a local ambassador for platform adoption, testing new solutions and providing structured feedback.
• Lead local change‑management activities to support process and platform transformation.
• Roll out training programmes, onboard employees and promote continuous learning.
• Monitor and report on process improvement results, platform adoption and operational performance metrics.
• Foster collaboration, ownership and continuous improvement by supporting Super Users and operational stakeholders.

Required profile

• Continuous‑improvement mindset with curiosity about how work gets done.
• Broad operational experience in logistics, supply chain, warehousing, manufacturing, terminal or similar environments.
• Strong knowledge of processes and systems with ability to document and improve them.
• Experience in change management, process implementation or business transformation initiatives.
• Proven ability to build collaborative relationships and work effectively across functions.
