Business Analyst – Digital & Wallet Platforms

About the role

Scrums.com is looking for a Business Analyst to help shape the future of mobile money and digital financial services in Cameroon. You will act as the bridge between business, product, architecture, delivery and operations teams, turning business needs into clear, testable requirements for wallet platforms and mobile applications.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business and customer experience requirements for wallet, mobile app and digital channel initiatives.
• Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions and design‑thinking meetings with stakeholders.
• Define and document business processes, customer journeys, transaction flows and use cases.
• Conduct impact assessments to evaluate operational, technical and customer implications of proposed changes.
• Develop Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs) and User Stories.
• Define clear, testable acceptance criteria aligned with business outcomes.
• Support solution design validation, functional testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for platform releases.
• Collaborate with Solution Architecture and Engineering teams to confirm technical feasibility.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in fintech or digital payments.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex business problems into actionable requirements.
• Excellent communication skills to work with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
• Passion for driving digital and financial inclusion at scale.
• Based locally in Douala or Yaoundé, with flexibility for remote or hybrid work for highly qualified candidates.
