Driver Onboarding & Community Lead

About the role

As the Driver Onboarding & Community Lead, you will be the primary point of contact for new drivers joining the Yiino ride‑hailing platform. You will recruit, vet, train, and support drivers, building a loyal community that upholds Yiino’s safety and service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and launch driver recruitment campaigns to attract qualified candidates.
• Manage vetting processes, including police clearances and document verification.
• Conduct onboarding sessions that introduce platform operations, service expectations, and brand values.
• Deliver hands‑on training on app navigation, trip handling, safety protocols, and customer experience.
• Monitor early driver performance, provide guidance, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with drivers to foster loyalty and reduce churn.
• Lead feedback sessions, capture driver insights, and implement platform improvements.
• Maintain accurate records of onboarding, compliance status, and feedback logs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Transportation, Community Development, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in recruitment, training, or community mobilization, preferably in mobility or logistics.
• Proven ability to build and motivate large field teams.
• Strong familiarity with Douala and surrounding communities.
• Fluent in French and English.
