Epidemiology & Health Research Internship (2026)

About the role

The Clinical Research Education, Networking and Consultancy (CRENC) is offering a six‑month internship in epidemiology and health research in Yaoundé, Cameroon. Interns will join a multidisciplinary team to support ongoing research projects and develop practical skills in data handling, biostatistics and scientific writing.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the research team on ongoing projects, including data collection, management and analysis.
• Apply ethical principles and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines in all activities.
• Support the preparation of research protocols and regulatory submissions.
• Prepare research reports, manuscripts and presentations.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses using R, SPSS or STATA.
• Participate in meetings, trainings and propose improvements to research processes.
