About the role
Pacific International Lines (PIL) is seeking a proactive External Sales Representative to drive revenue growth across Cameroon, Chad and the Central African Republic. You will be responsible for acquiring new customers, nurturing existing relationships, and expanding PIL's market share in the region.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential clients by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitor activities, and market trends.
- Meet and exceed sales targets through effective negotiation and customer relationship management.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with Customer Service and Operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Provide regular sales performance reports to the management team.
Required profile
- At least 3 years of sales experience, preferably in shipping, logistics, transportation, or insurance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Experience with CRM software.
