Field Sales & Business Development Representative – Yaoundé

About the role

TechGundy is looking for motivated Field Sales & Business Development Representatives based in Yaoundé to create new business opportunities with schools, SMEs and other organisations. The role is field‑based, focusing on prospecting, presenting relevant digital solutions and following up with potential clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential clients in the field.
• Present TechGundy’s programmes and digital solutions.
• Understand prospects’ needs and match them with appropriate opportunities.
• Maintain accurate prospect information and follow up consistently.
• Help convert qualified prospects into paying clients.
• Share market feedback and client needs with the internal team.
• Represent TechGundy professionally during field activities and events.

Required profile

• Confident communicator comfortable engaging with professionals.
• Enjoys approaching new people and conducting field prospecting.
• Proactive, organised, disciplined and self‑motivated.
• Good listener who can identify client needs.
• Able to present ideas or solutions clearly and persuasively.
• Comfortable using WhatsApp and basic digital tools.
• Fluent in French; good English is an advantage.
• Previous sales experience is a plus but not mandatory.
