Finance Department Volunteer (On‑site)

About the role

This on‑site volunteer position supports the Finance Department of Good Neighbors International in Yaounde. The role offers practical exposure to nonprofit financial operations while contributing to the organization’s humanitarian mission.

Key responsibilities

• Enter financial data and maintain accurate records.
• Organise and file financial documents, vouchers, receipts, and payment requests.
• Assist with basic reconciliations and budget tracking.
• Update spreadsheets and compile information for internal reporting and audits.
• Ensure documentation complies with organizational procedures.

Required profile

• Foundational knowledge of accounting or finance principles.
• Interest in nonprofit financial management.
• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
• Academic background or ongoing studies in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Reliability, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
