French-English Interpreter (On-site, Douala)

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time French‑English Interpreter to join our on‑site team in Douala. The interpreter will provide accurate, real‑time translation for customers speaking on the phone, ensuring clear communication in both languages.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret spoken conversations between French and English customers and agents in real time.
• Maintain consistent terminology and convey messages accurately.
• Uphold confidentiality of all sensitive information exchanged during calls.
• Support both simultaneous and consecutive interpretation as needed.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in spoken and written French and English.
• Ability to interpret simultaneously and consecutively.
• Experience in customer service is a plus.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Douala.
• Relevant education in languages, translation, interpretation, communications, or a related field; certifications are a plus.
• Professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and commitment to ethical standards.

Required skills

• Fluent bilingual communication in French and English.
